About The Position

System Analyst - Lender Platforms

ChargeAfter is pioneering the embedded lending network for point-of-sale consumer financing for merchants and financial institutions. Powered by a network of lenders and a data-driven matching engine, ChargeAfter streamlines the distribution of credit into a single, secure, and reliable embedded lending platform. Merchants can rapidly implement ChargeAfter’s omni-channel platform online, in-store, and at every point of sale, enabling them to provide personalized financing choices to their customers. 

As a System Analyst specializing in Financial Institution (FI) integrations at ChargeAfter, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring seamless and efficient integration of FIs onto our platform. 

You will possess a deep understanding of our integration capabilities and the technical intricacies of various FI systems.

Responsibilities


  • Work closely with Financial Institutions (FIs) to understand, gather, and define their technical requirements and business flows for the integration onto the ChargeAfter platform.
  • Partner closely with our Development, Solutions, and Product teams to collaboratively design and architect scalable integration solutions, ensuring they align with the ChargeAfter product roadmap.
  • Lead the end-to-end integration process, from initial discovery and requirement gathering through to testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with all internal and external stakeholders on the integration progress.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of existing FI integrations, identifying opportunities for optimization, efficiency gains, and improved reliability.


Requirements


  • 3+ years experience as a System Analyst, Integration Specialist, Technical Business Analyst, or equivalent technical role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working at a FI or Fintech company.
  • Familiarity with APIs and ability to explain API concepts to our technical and non-technical partners.
  • Comfortable interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to lead complex integration conversations in a highly consultative and proactive manner.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication.
  • Problem solver, curious and self-driven.
  • Experience working in a distributed environment with international teams - an advantage.
  • Experience with startup companies and in the field of e-commerce, payments, or fraud - an advantage.

NYC Posting: In accordance with New York City Local Law 32, the expected salary for this role is between $100,000-$140,000. This role may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or stock options. All offers to candidates will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s individual experience, skill set, background and other business and organizational need
