Product Manager - Lender Platform

ChargeAfter is pioneering the embedded lending network for point-of-sale consumer financing for merchants and financial institutions (FI). Powered by a network of lenders and a data-driven matching engine, ChargeAfter streamlines the distribution of credit into a single, secure, and reliable embedded lending platform. Merchants can rapidly implement ChargeAfter’s omni-channel platform online, in-store, and at every point of sale, enabling them to provide personalized financing choices to their customers.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with FIs to understand and define the business flow to integrate onto the CA platform
- Partner closely with Development, Design, and Solutions teams to lead product development efforts
- Define features and communicate requirements to engineering in clearly written documentation
- Define and monitor FI metrics and KPIs using our analytics
- Participate in strategic decision-making, roadmap prioritization, and exploration of new opportunities
- Keep stakeholders up to date on integration progress and the team connected across locations and strategic initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in Product Management in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working at a FI or Fintech company
- Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing and driving decisions
- Familiarity with APIs and ability to explain API concepts to our technical and non-technical partners
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and is comfortable interfacing with technical teams
- Strong knowledge of the product development lifecycle using Agile methodologies, APIs,and engineering practices.
- Ability to lead complex integration conversations in a highly consultative and proactive manner
- Outstanding verbal and written communication
- Problem solver, curious and self-driven
- Excellent organizational skills including a strong attention to details
- Experience working in a distributed environment with international teams - advantage
- Experience with startup companies and in the field of e-commerce, payments, or fraud - advantage

NYC Posting: In accordance with New York City Local Law 32, the expected salary for this role is between $130,000-$155,000. This role may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or stock options. All offers to candidates will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s individual experience, skill set, background and other business and organizational needs.
